Position: OR Radiology Technologist
Address: Neptune, NJ 07754
Duration: 13 Weeks 
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Evenings)
Schedule: 5 Days/Week | 8 Hours/Day | 40 Hours/Week
Pay Range: $55-$60/hr.

Important Notes

  • Manager reviewing resumes
  • Weekend and Holiday coverage required as needed
  • Floating required within facility to like units
  • No On-Call
  • Scrubs provided
  • Minimum 1 year of OR Radiology/X-Ray experience required
  • High-volume trauma OR experience preferred
  • Proficiency with C-Arm and portable X-ray equipment required
  • O-Arm experience preferred

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
  • Completion of clinical and A.R.R.T. requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of OR Radiology/X-Ray Technologist experience
  • New Jersey State License
  • ARRT Certification
  • BLS Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform radiographic procedures in the operating room
  • Prepare and administer contrast media
  • Monitor for adverse reactions and assist with emergency response, including CPR
  • Position patients and obtain high-quality radiographs using proper radiation protection techniques
  • Operate C-Arm, portable X-ray equipment, and other radiology equipment safely
  • Verify patient identity and physician orders before procedures
  • Produce diagnostic images meeting Radiologist and Surgeon expectations
  • Properly identify and document radiographic studies
  • Communicate procedures clearly to patients and address questions or concerns
  • Adhere to HMH organizational standards and perform other assigned duties
