OR Sterile Processing Tech

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to work at a Facility in Philadelphia, PA. These are registry positions with our company.

Shift Details:

• M-F 10a-6:30p

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 1 year with experience in Sterile Processing Tech
• A valid and current license issued by the state of PA
• A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
• Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness and damage
• Assemble and package instrument sets for procedures
• Operate sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers)
• Maintain proper storage of sterile supplies
• Track and document sterilization processes
• Ensure compliance with infection control standards
• Distribute sterile instruments to operating rooms and departments
• Maintain inventory of instruments and supplies
• Follow safety and quality procedures
