Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced OR Tech / Surgical Tech for a 13-week assignment in Torrance, California. The ideal candidate will assist surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment while maintaining sterile technique and supporting high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
- Maintain sterile field throughout surgical cases
- Assist surgeons, nurses, and other surgical staff during procedures
- Anticipate surgical team needs and provide appropriate instrumentation and supplies
- Ensure equipment is functioning properly before and during procedures
- Support patient safety and infection control standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent Surgical Tech experience required
- BLS Certification required
- Neuro surgical experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity surgical environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required
