Job Overview:

The surgical technician will work closely with the perioperative registered nurse, contributing as a vital team member to deliver tailored, age-appropriate care to patients. This role involves maintaining a safe environment that promotes positive patient outcomes and monitoring physiological responses during surgery within the surgical suite and the broader perioperative division.

Qualifications:

Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an OR Technician training program
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficient in scrubbing for various service lines, including robotics, vascular, endovascular, neurovascular, general, thoracic, neuro/spine, orthopedics, complex plastic cases, and trauma
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to make calls, demonstrate flexibility, multitask, and work independently

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• Certified Surgical Technician certification is mandatory
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider Certification from the American Heart Association is required

Scheduling Requirements:

• 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Availability for every other weekend and holidays
• Full-Time commitment

Pay Range:

$30.65 - $37.58 per hour
