Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Retail Functional Consultant to support an Oracle Retail Cloud Application Management Services (AMS) engagement. The consultant will provide ongoing functional support, enhancement delivery, business process optimization, and continuous improvement across Oracle Retail Cloud applications.

The role will work closely with business and technology teams to ensure operational stability, deliver enhancements, resolve functional issues, and support long-term transformation initiatives. When required, the consultant may also support Oracle Retail implementation projects, which may take priority over AMS activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for Oracle Retail Cloud applications within an AMS environment.
• Support incident, problem, change, and release management activities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
• Perform functional design, business process analysis, and process optimization.
• Coordinate functional testing, defect resolution, and production validation.
• Support Oracle Retail modules including:
  • Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS)
  • Pricing Cloud Service (PCS)
  • Invoice Matching Cloud Service (IMCS)
  • Event Planner
  • Related Oracle Retail integrations
• Identify opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Support enhancement delivery and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business users, functional teams, technical teams, and project stakeholders.
• Support Oracle Retail implementation activities when required.
• Monitor and communicate project/support status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Escalate critical issues and matters requiring additional attention to Engagement Managers and leadership.
• Provide clear functional guidance and knowledge transfer to team members.
• Lead assigned projects, enhancements, or functional workstreams.
• Manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and ensure deliverables meet established standards.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Retail / Retek Functional applications.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Retail Price Management / Pricing Cloud Service (PCS).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Retail Merchandising Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS).
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Retail Invoice Matching (IMCS).
• Experience working in Oracle Retail AMS / production support environments.
• Strong understanding of retail business processes and Oracle Retail functional workflows.
• Experience with requirements gathering, functional analysis, and functional design.
• Experience coordinating testing and defect resolution.
• Strong incident, problem, change, and release management experience.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
