Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a Oracle Cloud ERP Functional Lead (GL & AP) for their Teaneck, NJ/ Remote location.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Oracle Cloud Financials implementations, ensuring scalable and sustainable enterprise finance solutions.
  • Design and review Oracle Cloud Financials configurations for Payables and General Ledger, aligning with client business processes, chart of accounts structures, approval workflows, and reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into robust architectural solutions.
  • Define and validate integrations between Oracle Cloud Financials and external systems, including master data platforms, tax engines, reporting tools, and subledger applications.
  • Conduct fit-gap assessments and recommend design approaches that maximize standard Oracle functionality while minimizing customization.
  • Provide architectural governance for configuration, data migration, testing, deployment, and release management activities.
  • Develop and maintain architecture documentation, including solution designs, integration flows, data models, and impact assessments.
  • Guide hybrid global delivery teams on implementation best practices, configuration management, and quality assurance.
  • Review and validate testing strategies, ensuring accurate accounting, transaction processing, period close functionality, and regulatory reporting compliance.
  • Advise on security, controls, audit requirements, segregation of duties (SoD), and risk mitigation within Oracle Cloud Financials.
  • Monitor and optimize finance process performance, including invoice processing, posting efficiency, and financial close activities.
  • Evaluate new Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities and releases, recommending enhancements that deliver business value.
  • Mentor functional and technical team members on Oracle Cloud Financials architecture, design standards, and governance practices
 
Requirements:
Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials, specifically:
  • Payables (AP)
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Oracle Cloud Financials solutions.
  • Expertise in:
  • Chart of Accounts (COA) design
  • Accounting configurations and rules
  • Invoice processing
  • Payment management
  • Financial period close
  • Tax integrations
  • Financial reporting
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial operations, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials integrations, architecture design, and solution governance.
  • Knowledge of data migration strategies, reconciliation processes, and finance data validation techniques.
  • Strong stakeholder management, business analysis, and documentation skills.
  • Experience working in global and hybrid delivery environments
Nice-to-have skills
