Oracle Cloud Security Lead (WMATA)

Velocity Talent is hiring an Oracle Cloud Security Lead for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA). WMATA is moving its Oracle applications from on premises to Oracle Cloud across Finance, HCM, EPM and EDM, and this role owns security for that platform.

Contract: 6 months.
Location: hybrid, with required onsite work at WMATA sites in Hyattsville, MD, Washington, DC and Alexandria, VA. The interview is in person in Alexandria, VA.

What you'll do

• Design, implement and govern Oracle Cloud security across Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM and EDM
• Own role based access control, data security and Segregation of Duties frameworks
• Configure Oracle Risk Management Cloud, including Advanced Access Controls and Advanced Financial Controls
• Design and maintain OCI security architecture for IAM, encryption, monitoring and logging
• Lead security assessments, risk analysis, remediation and internal and external audit readiness
• Run joiner, mover and leaver access governance, and troubleshoot roles, privileges, integrations and access controls
• Explain Oracle configuration to business users and IT leaders, build reporting queries, design documents and training materials, and present in design reviews
• Mentor users and lead several security initiatives at once

What you'll need

• 8+ years designing, implementing and assessing Oracle Cloud security and SoD controls
• 5+ years designing Oracle Cloud security roles across domains
• 5+ years managing Oracle Cloud implementations and configurations
• Experience supporting audits and access lifecycle governance
• Bachelor's degree, or three additional years of relevant experience

Nice to have

• CISA or CISSP
• Oracle Cloud Security Foundation or Professional certification
• Oracle Core HR, Financials or Procurement certification
• Business process risk and control design
• Master's degree
