Role Overview: The Oracle Cloud Solution Architect serves as the primary authority for end-to-end Operate (AMS) architecture . This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and scalability of the Oracle Cloud ecosystem (ERP/SCM). The Architect governs the technical landscape through disciplined incident/change management, robust integration standards, and a focus on long-term production resilience.


Core Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Governance & Strategy:

  • Define and maintain the current and target-state architecture across Oracle Cloud ERP/SCM , integrations, and cross-functional data flows.

  • Establish design standards and non-functional requirements to ensure system integrity and security.

  • Govern integration patterns (OIC, FBDI, APIs) with a focus on monitoring, error handling, and automated reprocessing.

2. Operational Excellence & Support (L2/L3):

  • Serve as the final escalation point for complex, cross-module production issues.

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives to prevent incident recurrence and improve system uptime.

  • Drive the readiness strategy for Oracle Quarterly Updates, including impact assessment and coordinated regression testing.

3. Release & Change Management:

  • Oversee production change and release planning for defects and enhancements.

  • Manage environment readiness, cutover protocols, and post-production validation.

  • Maintain and approve high-standard technical documentation, including runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge repositories.

  • Mentor the global support team and provide executive-level operational reporting on SLAs and performance trends.


Technical Requirements:

  • Experience: 8+ years of Oracle expertise, with a significant focus on Oracle Cloud Solution Architecture within a production/AMS environment.

  • Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in OIC/Middleware, FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs, OCI, and VBCS .

  • Reporting & Scripting: Strong command of OTBI, BI Publisher (BIP) , and Groovy scripting.

  • Methodology: Deep experience in ITIL-oriented support models (Incident, Problem, and Change Management).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Oracle Cloud AMS/Operate environments.

  • Proficiency in ServiceNow or Jira for service management.

  • Advanced exposure to Smart View and complex data visualization.


Performance Indicators (90-Day Success):

  • Measurable reduction in repeat P1/P2 incidents through architectural remediation.

  • Standardization of operational runbooks and system monitoring.

  • Successful execution of a predictable, high-integrity Oracle Quarterly Update cycle.
