Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata, Data Guard, GoldenGate, and Oracle Database Administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing mission-critical Oracle environments, performing database migrations, implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, optimizing database performance, and supporting enterprise applications

Job Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day administration of Oracle databases in production and non-production environments.
Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
Plan and execute complex database migrations, including Exadata and On-Premises to Cloud migrations.
Configure, manage, and monitor Oracle Data Guard environments, including automated switchovers and failovers using Data Guard Broker.
Install, configure, and administer Oracle GoldenGate, including Extracts, Replicats, and replication monitoring.
Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
Execute quarterly Exadata full-stack patching, including Database, Grid Infrastructure, Storage Cells, Network Switches, and Firmware.
Monitor database health using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and proactively resolve issues.
Analyze and tune SQL performance using AWR, ADDM, and execution plans.
Troubleshoot database performance issues, locking, deadlocks, waits, and resource contention.
Develop and maintain PL/SQL objects including Stored Procedures, Packages, Triggers, Functions, and Views.
Create automation scripts using Shell or Batch scripting for backups, maintenance, monitoring, and schema refreshes.
Perform database security administration, user management, capacity planning, and schema maintenance.
Support application deployments, development teams, testing activities, and production releases.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5–7 years of Oracle Database Administration experience.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g, 12c, and 19c.
Experience executing at least one complex Oracle database migration involving Exadata or On-Premises to Cloud migration.
Strong experience with:
Oracle Data Guard and Data Guard Broker
Oracle GoldenGate administration
Oracle RMAN Backup & Recovery
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM)
Oracle Data Pump
SQL and PL/SQL development
Database Performance Tuning
Logical and Physical Database Design
Capacity Planning and User Administration
Experience troubleshooting database locks, waits, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks.
Strong Shell or Batch scripting experience for database automation.Oracle Database Certifications.
Experience with Oracle Exadata administration.
Knowledge of Data Masking.
Experience supporting Java/JEE web applications.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
Experience mentoring junior team members and collaborating across multiple technical teams.
