Job Title: Oracle PL/SQL Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Rate: $60-$65/hour W2

Duration: 18 Months

Overview We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to support ongoing development and enhancement of enterprise database systems within a financial services environment. This role focuses on hands-on database development, data modeling, and performance optimization for financial data systems.

The ideal candidate has strong Oracle database development experience, deep knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL, and a background working with financial or banking data environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database solutions using PL/SQL and SQL.
• Build and optimize stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Perform database design and data modeling to support financial data systems.
• Develop and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting and data processing.
• Support enhancements and ongoing development of existing database applications.
• Collaborate with application teams, data teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into database solutions.
• Analyze and resolve performance issues, data integrity issues, and query optimization needs.
• Ensure database development aligns with enterprise data standards and financial data governance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on database development experience.
• Strong expertise in Oracle Database development.
• Advanced experience with PL/SQL programming.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development and query optimization.
• Experience with database design and data modeling.
• Proven experience working with financial data.
• Background working within banking or financial services environments
