Job Description :
Should have 5-8 years of extensive hands-on experience as DBA (Oracle\Golden Gate)
Role and responsibilities:
Oracle
1) Oracle architecture understanding and database administration
2) Oracle software installation, upgrades, patching, database creation & configuration
3) capacity planning,
4) Space management,
5) performance tuning,
6) storage management (Like ASM , Raw devices etc)
7) back-up and recovery (Online / Offline )
8) managing schemas,
9) report generation,
10) Logical backup strategy ( Like Data Pump or exp)
11) RAC (Management ,configuration , process relocation)
12) Well knowledge of RAC component related to hardware and software
13) Data guard configuration
14) knowledge of logical and physical DB configuration
15) OEM installation and monitoring of DB
16) Alert resolution related to DB like (ORA-
17) RMAN backup and restore
18) shell Scripting
19) Oracle database security (users, profiles, privs, roles etc)
20) Golden Gate configuration and troubleshooting.
