Description

Kforce has a client in need of an Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) in Westlake, TX. Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and support cloud-based data platform and database solutions
  • Build, deploy, and maintain data replication, data streaming, and change data capture (CDC) capabilities
  • Configure and administer enterprise data replication platforms to ensure performance, reliability, and scalability
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to develop solutions that address complex data and integration requirements
  • Develop infrastructure automation and deployment solutions using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and scripting
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, platform modernization, and cloud migration initiatives
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize database and data movement environments
  • Promote engineering best practices and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Mentor team members and provide technical guidance across projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise database and cloud platform solutions
  • Strong knowledge of data replication, data streaming, change data capture (CDC), and data integration concepts
  • Experience with enterprise database technologies and modern data platform architectures
  • Experience deploying and supporting solutions in AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, automation frameworks, and scripting languages
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and software delivery methodologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience mentoring engineers and supporting collaborative team environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Passion for continuous learning and adopting emerging technologies
  • Relevant cloud, database, or platform certifications are a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
