Position Summary

This role involves design, Developer and review all the Database changes in the bank. As a Database Engineer he/she will apply industry accepted design and development practices for perform all the database related changes like DB design, normalization, SQL/ PL-SQL using Agile Methodology

Manager really wants to see: 5+ Years experience Experience of Oracle SQL Pl/ SQL Experience of MS SQL Server JIRA

Primary Skill- Oracle SQL / PLSQL

Secondary Skill-MS SQL Server

Tertiary Skill- Performance Tuning and Capacity Monitoring Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in latest Oracle Database version.
• Proficiency in TOAD and similar tools
• Experience in OEM
• Strong Experience in SQL and PL/ SQL programming
• Proven experience in Database Design and Data modeling (ER Diagram and Normalization)
• Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, memory structure and background processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
• Hands-on experience in performance tuning, including -

o Query Optimization

o Indexing strategies

o Use of AWR, ASH and Explain plan, etc.

Desired Qualifications

o Worked in financial domain.

o Knowledge of shell scripting, python for automation database tasks.

o Familiarity with DevOps practice and tools like Jenkins, GIT and Datical.

o Exposure to MS SQL server and MongoDB

o Knowledge of data security, encryption and compliance standards
