EPBCS Integration Specialist (Data Lake Integration)


Our client, a leading global provider of environmental and utility services, is seeking an experienced Oracle EPBCS Integration Specialist to design and develop integrations between Oracle Enterprise Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and enterprise cloud data platforms.
This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance data pipelines that move financial planning, budgeting, and actuals data into modern cloud data lakes for enterprise reporting and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Oracle EPBCS integration architecture.
  • Develop outbound integrations from EPBCS to cloud data platforms.
  • Build pipelines for dimensions, actuals, budgets, and forecast data.
  • Develop ETL/ELT processes using SQL, Python, and modern integration tools.
  • Implement data validation, reconciliation, and quality controls.
  • Optimize integration performance through incremental loads, partitioning, and parallel processing.
  • Produce technical documentation, mapping specifications, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Data Engineering, and Enterprise Architecture teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Oracle EPBCS / Oracle Planning Cloud experience.
  • 3+ years designing and developing EPBCS integrations.
  • Experience creating outbound integrations from EPBCS using Oracle APIs.
  • Experience integrating with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, BigQuery, or similar cloud data warehouses.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Python development experience.
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Apache Airflow.
  • Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and financial data quality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with enterprise Data Lake architectures.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Experience with version-controlled ETL development and CI/CD.
  • Familiarity with Power BI or enterprise analytics platforms.
