Job Description

We are looking for an Oracle EPM Consultant to configure, enhance, and maintain Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. This position will be a full-time contract role, and fully remote.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full lifecycle implementations including solution design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment within the Oracle EPM platform
  • Partner with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify pain points, and define system enhancements
  • Document current state processes and design future state workflows aligned with industry best practices
  • Translate business and financial requirements into functional and technical specifications
  • Participate in governance activities such as EPM steering committee meetings to communicate system updates, patches, and impacts
  • Develop business rules, calculation scripts (Essbase/Groovy), webforms, and dashboards to support financial and operational needs
  • Configure and manage data integrations, including data loads and transformations using tools such as FDMEE, Data Management, and EPM Automate
  • Develop training materials and deliver training sessions to end users
  • Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support, including troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Analyze recurring system issues to identify root causes and recommend long-term solutions
  • Monitor scheduled jobs, data loads, workflows, and financial close processes to ensure system stability
  • Support patching, upgrades, and regression testing to ensure continued system performance and reliability

What You’ll Need

Required:

  • Experience implementing and supporting Oracle EPM solutions, particularly Planning (EPBCS/PBCS)
  • Strong experience with reporting tools such as Smart View, Financial Reporting Studio, Narrative Reporting, OTBI, or Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with Essbase (ASO/BSO), Groovy scripting, SQL/PL-SQL, Python, and EPM Automate
  • Experience configuring data integrations using FDMEE or Data Management
  • Experience translating complex financial and operational requirements into technical solutions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Finance and IT
  • Experience providing production support and troubleshooting complex systems

Preferred:

  • Experience managing security and system administration, including user roles, Identity Domain (IDCS), and migration (LCM)
  • Experience supporting financial close processes and enterprise reporting environments
  • Experience working in enterprise-scale EPM implementations

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor

$70 - $75 per hour

The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
