Job Summary (Oracle Finance Systems Lead)
- Provide technical leadership and operational ownership for enterprise financial systems supporting the Finance organization.
- Oversee day-to-day stability, integrations, data flows, and system governance for Oracle Fusion ERP and EPM platforms (e.g., EDM, EPBCS, EPMCS, GL, AP).
- Act as the subject matter expert for Oracle finance systems, supporting both operations and strategic initiatives.
- Manage an outsourced support model, ensuring SLA adherence and effective resolution of service requests.
- Translate Finance business requirements into technical specifications; maintain comprehensive system documentation and run books.
- Develop and execute strategic roadmaps ensuring scalability, stability, and alignment of Oracle platforms with Finance and enterprise objectives.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Engineering & Technology (ET) teams to align system architecture and long-term roadmaps with Finance needs.
- Plan, test, and deploy Oracle quarterly patches, upgrades, and releases with minimal disruption to business operations.
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations and data feeds between Oracle and third-party platforms (e.g., Concur, Redi2, TPRM, CounselLink).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data and reconciliation issues across Oracle modules and reporting systems.
- Oversee Development, Test, and Production environments, ensuring system availability, data integrity, and compliance with standards.
- Manage backup, recovery, and data validation processes, ensuring data completeness and accuracy.
- Enforce change management, documentation standards, and compliance with ET policies and enterprise architecture requirements.
- Review and monitor license usage, system access, and security roles for compliance and audit readiness.
- Maintain relationships with Oracle and other vendors; manage license compliance, renewals, and support.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Finance leadership, Accounting, FP&A, and ET partners.
- Provide transparency into system health, work prioritization, and project delivery.
- Support training and knowledge transfer to drive adoption and strengthen system utilization.
- Report directly to the Head of Finance / Distribution / Marketing Systems with regular updates and recommendations.E
