Kforce has a client that is seeking an Oracle - Functional Lead in Birmingham, AL. Overview: Our client is seeking an Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP Financials Lead with strong functional leadership experience across Oracle Fusion Financials and Procurement modules, with deep expertise in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Project Accounting/Costing. This role will lead solution design, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and production support in a Managed Services model, coordinating closely with offshore and nearshore teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing support for our client, offering expertise in problem tracking, replication, troubleshooting, diagnosis and resolution of complicated and critical cases. The focus of this position is to provide customer service via phone and electronic means on a functional level and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each service incident. This position requires the individual to coordinate work with offshore team members in order to maximize overall team efficiency. Duties:
  • Provide timely resolution and communication of tickets in the production support queue
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, resolve and report on production issues
  • Determine the root cause of incidents and make recommendations for prevention in the future
  • Serve as the primary functional point of contact for senior client stakeholders, business process owners, and IT leadership
  • Present status, risks, mitigations, and roadmap recommendations clearly to diverse audiences
  • Manage expectations, negotiate priorities, and lead governance forums (weekly status, steering, design councils)

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Financials
  • At least 5+ years of Oracle Cloud experience with emphasis on Supply Chain, Procure-to-Pay and Project Accounting/Costing
  • Prior experience providing Functional customer support
  • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong communication (verbal/written) with ability to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Ability to work independently onsite, build client trust, and operate as a functional leader
  • Structured problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and strong ownership
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team environment and collaborate with others
  • Ability to travel up to 80% to client site

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
