JOB DESCRIPTION
 
The Oracle Fusion QA/Test Lead is responsible for defining, governing, and assuring the end-to-end testing strategy for an Oracle Fusion Finance program. This role provides leadership across business, technology, and data testing activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives, operational requirements, control standards, and regulatory obligations. The position oversees integrated testing governance, quality assurance, and readiness activities across a multi-team and vendor delivery environment.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
 
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive end-to-end test strategy across Oracle, Snowflake, and legacy systems covering functional, integration, regression, data, security, reporting, non-functional, and cutover testing.
  • Define and approve testing approaches aligned with delivery methodologies and release schedules.
  • Ensure all business, technology, and data teams establish and maintain detailed test plans.
  • Validate that future-state business processes are tested end-to-end, including integrations, reporting, controls, and data conversion activities.
  • Ensure testing reflects operational scenarios, period-end processing, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Define and manage quality gates, entry and exit criteria, and readiness assessments for all testing phases including SIT, UAT, operational readiness, cutover rehearsal, go-live, and hyper care.
  • Provide risk-based assessments of testing and assurance activities, including remediation tracking and escalation management.
  • Maintain traceability between requirements, testing activities, defects, and business processes.
  • Track solution inventory across modules, interfaces, integrations, reports, and business capabilities.
  • Lead test governance activities, including planning cadence, RAID management, issue escalation, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Serve as the escalation point for issues impacting testing outcomes and drive resolution efforts.
  • Deliver senior-level status reporting, including testing confidence levels, risks, and business impact assessments.
  • Ensure testing standards, tools, processes, and evidence requirements are applied consistently across teams and vendors.
  • Oversee consolidated metrics reporting including coverage, execution progress, pass rates, defect trends, severity, aging, and reopen rates.
  • Provide independent assurance that testing outcomes demonstrate operational readiness and not solely task completion.
  • Maintain standardized defect management processes including triage, prioritization, root cause analysis, validation, regression assessment, retesting, and closure.
  • Ensure unresolved defects and workarounds are appropriately documented, risk assessed, and approved through governance channels.
  • Support audit and controls compliance by maintaining audit-ready evidence and documentation standards.
  • Monitor readiness dependencies including training, controls, operating models, security access, reporting, and data readiness.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
 
  • 10+ years of experience in test management and test execution across complex enterprise implementations.
  • 5+ years of experience in test leadership roles.
  • Strong experience leading end-to-end testing within Oracle Fusion Finance programs.
  • Experience managing testing across multi-team and vendor delivery environments.
  • Deep understanding of integrated testing methodologies, governance, and assurance practices.
  • Experience with Oracle Finance solutions, integrations, interfaces, reporting, data migration, and security testing.
  • Experience supporting Snowflake and legacy system integrations preferred.
  • Strong understanding of defect management, traceability, and quality assurance processes.
  • Experience defining and managing testing quality gates and readiness criteria.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide executive-level reporting and risk assessments.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory testing requirements.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
