Oracle Golden Gate DBA / Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Golden Gate DBA to support a migration project by designing, implementing, and maintaining real-time data replication and migration solutions across production and disaster recovery sites.

Location: Lahore (preferred) Candidates from Karachi with relevant experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle GoldenGate 12c/19c (Classic & Microservices).

Design and implement replication topologies.

Configure Extract, Pump, and Replicate processes with optimal parameters.

Work with RAC, ASM, and Data Guard integration.

Manage GoldenGate security (encryption, credential store, TLS).

Monitor & troubleshoot replication (lag, trail files, error handling).

Perform conflict detection & resolution in bi-directional setups.

Optimize GoldenGate for high throughput & minimal latency.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on Oracle GoldenGate DBA experience in enterprise environments.

Deep understanding of Extract/Replicate internals, parameter files & trail file architecture.

Proven expertise in performance tuning & troubleshooting.

Experience with bi-directional replication and conflict resolution.

Familiarity with GoldenGate utilities (GGSCI, Admin Client, GoldenGate Studio, Veridata).

Scripting knowledge (Shell/Python/Perl) is a plus.

Education & Certifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT or related field.

Oracle GoldenGate certification (preferred).
