Job Description - Oracle GoldenGate / Database DR Specialist

Mandatory Requirement:

• Experience working with Pearlcare's Oracle GoldenGate integration and DR architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess Oracle GoldenGate integration and Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture and develop cloud-native design and architecture approaches.
• Verify and execute security scripts and health checks on Oracle GoldenGate.
• Coordinate with the customer security team to identify, track, and troubleshoot issues.
• Document compliance-related information and findings.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Oracle GoldenGate administration and architecture.
• Good understanding of Extract/Replicat processes, replication topology, and integration patterns.
• Strong Oracle Database knowledge and experience supporting GoldenGate environments.
• Experience in DR and cloud-native solution design, including migration of on-premises GoldenGate environments to Azure-based DR solutions.
• Knowledge of RPO/RTO planning and alignment with enterprise DR strategies.
• Experience in scripting and operational health checks using SQL and shell scripting.
• Ability to work closely with security teams to identify, track, and resolve issues.
• Strong documentation and compliance reporting skills.
