ABOUT THE ROLEA financial services organization is undergoing a significant transformation of its HR technology environment and is seeking an experienced
Oracle HR Temp to support the transition to Oracle Cloud HCM.
This role will serve as a functional partner across HR, Technology, business analysis, project management, and external implementation teams. The consultant will translate HR requirements into functional solutions, support configuration and testing, develop reporting, assist with data migration, and help prepare the organization for a successful future-state HCM environment.
This is a functional implementation role and does not require coding.RESPONSIBILITIES- Partner with internal HR and Technology stakeholders, project teams, and external implementation consultants throughout the Oracle Fusion HCM implementation.
- Gather and analyze HR business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and scalable Oracle HCM solutions.
- Support configuration, validation, testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of Oracle Fusion HCM.
- Evaluate system configurations against business requirements and ensure solutions align with the program's target operating model and established design principles.
- Support functional design across relevant Oracle HCM capabilities, including Core HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Time and Labor, Absence, Learning, and HR Help Desk.
- Develop and maintain HR reporting using tools such as OTBI and BI Publisher, ensuring reporting accuracy and data integrity.
- Support Oracle HCM security, access management, workflows, and related functional controls.
- Collaborate with business analysts to evaluate current-state processes and define future-state HR workflows.
- Support data migration by analyzing legacy HR data, mapping datasets, validating information, and helping ensure a smooth transition into Oracle.
- Develop user documentation and support training activities to facilitate adoption of the new HCM environment.
- Work with stakeholders to identify implementation risks, common configuration considerations, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Partner with HR subject matter experts to understand opportunities for AI-enabled capabilities within the future-state HR technology environment.
QUALIFICATIONS- Extensive experience working with HR systems and HR technology, with strong functional knowledge of HR processes and practices.
- Proven experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a comparable Oracle HCM implementation role.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM and functional configuration.
- Experience supporting Oracle HCM implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Experience with Oracle HCM security, access management, and workflow functionality.
- Strong understanding of HR business processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
- Experience with Oracle HCM reporting tools, particularly OTBI and/or BI Publisher.
- Ability to support data migration, data mapping, validation, and legacy-system analysis.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives while adapting to changing requirements and deadlines.
- Oracle HCM certification is highly desirable.
- Big Four consulting experience is a plus.
