Job Title: Oracle OPM Functional Lead (Oracle EBS R12.2)
Location: Albany, NY

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle OPM Functional Lead with deep expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12.2, specializing in Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end functional delivery, collaborate closely with business stakeholders, and drive successful Oracle OPM implementations and enhancements within pharmaceutical or process manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Functional Lead and primary point of contact for Oracle OPM and Order Management workstreams.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs).
  • Design, configure, and optimize Oracle EBS OPM and SCM solutions to support manufacturing operations.
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including system configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production go-live activities.
  • Work with onshore and offshore teams to ensure timely project delivery and high-quality solutions.
  • Analyze production issues, perform root cause analysis, and provide functional support during hypercare.
  • Develop functional documentation, process flows, and configuration specifications.
  • Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, reports, extensions, and data migration activities.
  • Ensure Oracle solutions align with business processes, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) functional experience.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM).
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12.2.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle SCM modules, including:
  • Order Management (OM)

  • Inventory

  • Bills of Material (BOM)

  • Cost Management

  • Quality

  • Experience leading Oracle EBS implementation, enhancement, or support projects.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, FDD preparation, SIT, UAT, and go-live support.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, chemicals, food & beverage, or other process manufacturing industries.
  • Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, or other ticketing/ALM tools.
  • Knowledge of Oracle integrations, reporting, and manufacturing business processes.
  • Experience leading distributed onshore/offshore project teams.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience delivering large-scale Oracle EBS implementations for regulated manufacturing organizations will be highly preferred.
