Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
The Oracle Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle database applications, PL/SQL programs, and reporting solutions. This role requires technical expertise and communication skills to collaborate effectively with business users, project managers, architects, QA teams, and production support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and root-cause analysis to resolve production issues.
Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, facilitating requirement-gathering sessions and design reviews.
Provide status updates, risks, and dependencies to management.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Oracle Database (12c/19c or later).
Advanced PL/SQL development experience.
Knowledge of SQL performance tuning.
Understanding of data modeling and database design.
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git or Bitbucket.
