Oracle PL/SQL Developer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise database applications using Oracle PL/SQL and modern database technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting production systems, developing high-performance database solutions, and working within financial platforms.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

· 8+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer supporting production systems

· 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry

· Direct experience in Capital Markets, preferably Prime Services and/or Securities Lending

· Strong command of financial data models, workflows, and industry terminology

· Advanced Oracle RDBMS expertise, including: Complex SQL queryingStored procedures, functions, triggers, and viewsObject and user privilege management

· Demonstrated ownership of performance tuning for complex SQL and PL/SQL workloads

· Proven experience designing and supporting high-volume ETL processes (e.g., SQL*Loader or equivalent)

· Strong experience with database modeling and schema design

· Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and to develop and/or work with AI agents

· Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, applied to real financial datasets

· Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with command-line proficiency

· Experience delivering work in Agile/Scrum teams

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with technology and business teams

· Proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions, from requirements through production support

· Clear, direct communication skills with both engineers and business stakeholders

· Working knowledge of Core Java and/or Python

· Experience with enterprise job schedulers (e.g., Control-M)

· AWS cloud exposure, particularly supporting database or data-platform workloads

· Demonstrated ability to ramp quickly in complex, data-intensive domains
