Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Lead Consultant
Oracle ORMB | Healthcare Payer | Configuration, Assessment & Optimization
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) Lead Consultant to join a high-impact initiative supporting a large healthcare payer. This consultant will play a critical role in assessing an existing ORMB implementation, identifying configuration and operational issues, and providing recommendations to improve system performance, billing operations, and business processes.
This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced ORMB professional who has led implementations, configuration efforts, production assessments, or optimization initiatives within the healthcare insurance industry.
Responsibilities
- Perform a comprehensive assessment of an existing Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) implementation.
- Review application configuration, system design, workflows, and business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Evaluate whether production issues stem from product configuration, implementation approach, data quality, integration, or business process design.
- Analyze billing operations and identify root causes impacting invoicing, delinquency processing, customer communications, and account management.
- Review batch processing, thread allocation, performance tuning, and operational workflows.
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders to understand current-state processes and recommend best practices.
- Develop remediation strategies and implementation recommendations to improve system stability and operational efficiency.
- Lead configuration discussions and provide guidance on ORMB capabilities and industry best practices.
- Support future enhancements and optimization initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Oracle Revenue Management & Billing (ORMB) experience.
- Demonstrated experience configuring and implementing Oracle ORMB.
- Experience leading ORMB assessments, audits, health checks, or implementation reviews.
- Strong understanding of ORMB architecture, configuration, billing lifecycle, and operational processes.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and performing root cause analysis.
- Experience working within healthcare payer organizations.
- Strong understanding of healthcare billing operations, including fully insured and self-funded (Administrative Services Only - ASA) plans.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale ORMB implementations.
- Experience optimizing batch processing and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of Oracle Utilities technologies and related Oracle billing products.
- Previous consulting experience leading system assessments and modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with commercial healthcare insurance organizations.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid preferred (approximately three days per week onsite for local candidates).
- Remote candidates with exceptional Oracle ORMB experience will be considered.
