Oracle Techno/Functional Consultant Supply Chain

Position Title: Oracle Techno/Functional Consultant – Supply Chain
Location: Las Vegas, NV. REMOTE
Duration: Long Term Contract
 
Basic Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on functional knowledge in Oracle Fusion SCM modules: Inventory, Procurement, Order Management
• Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Finance, specifically Accounts Payable (AP) module and its data
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion extraction methods – OTBI, BIP, REST APIs
• Ability to work alongside technical teams, understand SQL queries, data mappings, and staging concepts
• Proven ability to listen to business requirements and translate them into clear functional and data needs
• Experience working across multiple teams including technical, analytics, and business

• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex functional concepts in simple terms
• Comfortable working in a collaborative, multi-team environment
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests from different teams simultaneously
• Proactive in flagging data or functional gaps to the relevant stakeholders

• Exposure to Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) end-to-end processes
• Familiarity with data warehousing or staging layer concepts
• Experience with reporting tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Power BI, or Tableau
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion data model and standard reporting subject areas

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand and interpret requirements through a business lens
• Provide functional expertise across core Oracle Fusion modules
• Help business users articulate their data needs clearly and bridge the gap between business requests and data capabilities
• Act as a go-to functional resource for day-to-day queries from both business and technical teams
• Support the technical team in navigating Oracle Fusion data structures across SCM and Finance modules
• Guide the technical team on Oracle Fusion data extraction methods
• Validate extracted data against Oracle Fusion source for accuracy and completeness
• Support and review the loading of data into the staging layer
• Help analytics and data teams understand the functional meaning of extracted data entities
• Provide functional context to support data modelling decisions
• Advise on how data can be consumed without going into detailed technical design
• Support teams in understanding key identifiers, hierarchies, and reference data
• Be available to answer functional questions from BI, analytics, and data teams
• Conduct informal knowledge-sharing to improve team understanding of module-specific data and business processes
• Support data validation exercises by providing functional context on expected data behavior and business rules
