A modern, patient-centered oral surgery practice in Hayden, ID is seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our growing team on a part-time basis—with the potential to increase days in the future as demand continues to grow.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures including extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, orthognathic surgery, and management of pathology

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with oral health conditions requiring surgical intervention

  • Collaborate with referring dentists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, and other specialists to ensure optimal patient care

  • Administer anesthesia including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, and IV sedation in accordance with state regulations and patient needs

  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA and practice policies

  • Educate patients and/or guardians on post-operative care, risks, and expected outcomes of procedures

  • Ensure surgical operatory is sterile and equipped with appropriate tools, supplies, and staff support

  • Participate in continuing education and stay current with advancements in oral and maxillofacial surgery

  • Contribute to the practice’s reputation for clinical excellence and compassionate care

Qualifications:
  • DDS/DMD from an accredited dental school

  • Completed residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

  • Board-certified or board-eligible

  • Active Washington State Dental License (or eligible to obtain) and/or Active Idaho State Dental License

  • Active DEA License
