Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Oral Surgeon to join our growing team on a part-time basis (2–4 days per week). This role offers the opportunity to work within a well-established, multi-specialty practice with a steady referral base and strong clinical support.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures, including:
    • Tooth extractions (including impacted third molars)
    • Dental implant placement and restoration coordination
    • Bone grafting and ridge preservation
    • Surgical exposure of impacted teeth
    • Treatment of oral pathology and infections
  • Collaborate closely with general dentists, pediatric dentists, and orthodontists within the practice
  • Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care and education
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Ensure compliance with all clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Deliver an exceptional patient experience with a focus on comfort and quality outcomes
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Completion of an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program
  • Active Pennsylvania dental license (or eligibility for licensure)
  • Current DEA registration and CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
  • Board-certified or board-eligible (preferred)
  • Experience with implant placement and IV sedation strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high clinical standards and patient-centered care
