Operate a cherry picker/reach truck to pull customer orders from the warehouse inventory, track items with an RF scanner, and ensure safety and accuracy in handling and loading.
Primary Responsibilities:
Using a cherry picker / reach truck pull customer orders from warehouse inventory.
Use RF scanner to track and record pulled items.
Use proper safety practices to pull and stack inventory.
Follow order slips to ensure the order is correct before loading.
Completes all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Degree/GED is preferred.
Is comfortable working with heights.
Must be able to operate a cherry picker/reach truck.
Is able to work in a team environment.
Has strong attention to detail.
Requirements:
Must have 1-2 years of experience in a distribution department.
Must be able to pass our forklift certification/recertification course.
100% of the time, must be able to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry +/- 75 pounds.
Must be able to withstand continuous exposure to disagreeable noise, dirt, and fumes within the OSHA allowance.
Must be comfortable working in an environment where there is possible exposure to lost-time accidents, including but not limited to the hands, arms, feet, or back.
50% of the time spent standing throughout the shift.
Must obtain a forklift and LTL license to operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
