Order Entry & Customer Operations Coordinator

 We are a gourmet food company seeking a cheerful, energetic, detail-oriented, and reliable individual to support our order processing, customer service, and logistics coordination.

This role is central to ensuring accurate order fulfillment and smooth communication between customers, sales, and shipping partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and process customer orders via phone and email
• Enter and manage orders in the company system with a high level of accuracy
• Provide customers with product, pricing, and order status information
• Maintain and update customer records and order history
• Verify order accuracy, pricing, product availability, and shipping details
• Coordinate with shipping carriers and assist with freight quotes and scheduling (LTL and parcel)
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve order or fulfillment issues
• Support general office and operations tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Strong data entry and computer skills (experience with order management or ERP systems a plus)
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills (phone and email) with a customer-first mindset
• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn
• Experience in customer service, order processing, logistics, or wholesale distribution preferred
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs

Desired Experience

• 2–3 years of experience in customer service, order processing, logistics, or wholesale distribution
•  Experience with order entry/data entry and ERP or order-management systems
•  Experience coordinating shipping, freight, or deliveries is a plus 
•  Experience working in a small business or fast-paced office environment is a plus 
• Food/gourmet food industry experience is helpful but not required. An interest in French food and a willingness to learn are a must!
