Are you detail-oriented, reliable, and experienced with SAP and customer service? We are currently seeking a qualified Order Entry Specialist to join a leading manufacturer of wet and dry chemical products. This is a fantastic temp-to-hire opportunity offering stability and room for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter customer orders into the company’s SAP ERP system, meeting a daily goal of processing 20+ complex orders.
Provide exceptional customer service across multiple channels: phone, email, and in-person.
Respond to inquiries about order status, product availability, freight details, and payment information.
Verify order accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate inter-departmental processes for shipping and billing.
Serve as backup for front-desk receptionist duties, including managing invoicing paperwork.
Stay current on inventory levels and product availability to provide accurate information to customers.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation of all order transactions.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of consistent work history in order entry, customer service, or administrative support.
Proficient in SAP Systems and SPS Commerce.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook.
Prior experience in in-office customer service environments.
High attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
