Parts Coordinator

Location: Mattoon, IL

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week | Onsite

Contract Duration: 18-Month Contract (with potential for extension based on business needs and performance)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Parts Coordinator to support packaging operations and parts distribution activities within a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role is responsible for coordinating packaging solutions, resolving parts-related issues, supporting operational projects, and providing administrative assistance to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, analytical abilities, and experience working collaboratively across multiple departments to solve operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine packaging and container solutions for service parts moving through the distribution network.
• Support operational initiatives related to safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Perform administrative duties including data entry, documentation, reporting, and email correspondence.
• Coordinate resolution of parts-related issues involving distribution centers, vendors, manufacturing facilities, and customers.
• Review and analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory, packaging, and shipping concerns.
• Assist with maintaining operational standards and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder. Sponsorship is not available now or in the future for this position.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with data and identify trends or discrepancies.
• Experience coordinating issue resolution across multiple teams or departments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for approximately 70% of the workday.
• Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or production environment.
• Experience using SAP or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Administrative or operations coordination experience.
• Knowledge of process improvement or work standard development.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• 40 hours per week.
• Weekly timecard submission required.
