Position Summary:

The Order Fulfillment Processor operates powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, high lifts, and internal combustion or electric-powered equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT— Must be willing and able to work in an environment exposed to elements that can include but are not limited to coolant, dust, mist, elevated noise, and uncontrolled temperatures.

Accountabilities:

  • Pull customer orders accurately according to pick lists.
  • Transport and deliver materials to designated locations throughout the facility in a safe and timely manner.
  • Understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and material hazard requirements when handling products and chemicals.
  • Verify that pallets, crates and boxes are accurately labeled and properly identified before shipment.
  • Follow 6S standards, company policies, and safety procedures to support an efficient and compliant workplace.
  • Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently while scanning all items to ensure accurate inventory and shipment tracking.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area by sweeping floors and removing debris.
  • Operate pallet wrapping equipment and floor scales to prepare and verify shipments.
  • Optimize trailer and shipment space to maximize efficiency and minimize shipping costs.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, complete required inspection checklists, and verify fluid levels, tires and overall equipment condition.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year forklift operating experience required.
  • Ability to stop production and/or prevent the shipment of nonconforming or potentially nonconforming products to customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of material hazards and the ability to understand and follow Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Ability to band and secure pallets for shipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to operate a shrink wrap machine and battery hoist.
  • Ability to operate scan guns for material movements, inventory transactions and location verification.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
