    •  Job Title: Order & Inventory Analyst  
    • • Client: Japanese Automotive • Working Location: Farmington Hills, MI• Working style: Hybrid• Employment Type: Permanent/Full-time• Language: English/Japanese︎ What will you do:Process customer orders received via EDI, email, or internal requests, and create sales orders, invoices, and shipping documentsCoordinate shipments (air, courier, FedEx/UPS/DHL), arrange pickups, and communicate with warehouses, freight forwarders, and suppliersSend ASN to customers and manage end-to-end order fulfillment and delivery schedulesMaintain and update inventory systems (Phreebooks/ERP/WMS), including inbound/outbound data and inventory matricesMonitor inventory levels based on forecasts, reconcile system discrepancies, and perform inventory valuation and order balance checksSupport EDI/ERP system maintenance, improvements, and new warehouse system integrationsPrepare order planning matrices and delivery plans using forecasts, historical data, and market informationHandle returns, special shipments, and inventory management for prototype and service partsCreate SOPs, barcode labels, and ensure compliance with shipping and logistics standardsConduct cost analysis and drive continuous improvement in logistics and inventory processesSupport ISO9001, IATF16949, and CTPAT compliance activitiesCollaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth operationsParticipate in special projects and perform other assigned tasks related to order and inventory control

      ︎ Required Qualifications & Skills:Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business/economics or related field preferred, or equivalent experience2+ years of experience in order management, logistics, inventory control, or supply chain operationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and resolve issuesSolid understanding of inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processesKnowledge of international trade, customs procedures, and IncotermsExperience with ERP/EDI systems and data management tools (e.g., Phreebooks)Strong numerical skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills (technical and business level)Proficiency with standard office software and reporting toolsAbility to work both independently and in cross-functional teamsEnglish and Japanese proficiency required (Japanese native or near-native preferred)
