Your day at a glance

Start your morning reviewing new customer emails and voicemails, prioritizing inquiries and orders. You’ll confirm product availability, verify pricing, and prepare accurate quotes. As orders come in, you’ll own them from entry to delivery—coordinating with shipping on timelines, aligning with finance on terms, and looping in quality control when product questions arise.

Throughout the day, you’ll capture meticulous notes in our systems, update the knowledge base with new findings, and spot trends that inform customer reports. When the unexpected happens, you’ll be the calm, informed voice on the phone, guiding customers to fast, reliable solutions—and pitching in with general clerical support when the team needs a hand.

What you will handle

  • Serve as the primary contact via email and phone for product questions, order status, and problem resolution.
  • Process all incoming orders with precision—validating products, pricing, and delivery requirements.
  • Prepare quotes and manage end-to-end order workflow.
  • Partner with shipping, finance, and quality control to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly.
  • Maintain detailed records of every customer interaction and keep our product knowledge base current.
  • Analyze support data to create reports on recurring issues and emerging trends.
  • Support the team with additional clerical tasks as needed.

What you bring

  • 1–3 years in a customer support role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with a polished, professional phone presence.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent knowledge preferred.
