Our client, a Global Leader in the Medical Device Industry, has an immediate opening for a Order Management Specialist for a 18-month+ contract.  Our client offers results-driven people a place where they can make a difference - every day!  You will also have the opportunity to work with other like-minded, self-directed, and detail-oriented Top Talents in an extremely collaborative and professional environment.  

 

This role coordinates intercompany shipments from US facilities to international facilities.  Performs tasks such as PO management, order status communications, export documentation and transportation routing.  This role will be used mainly for data entry and repetitive tasks.  Interaction will be mainly Intra-Team.  While the tasks are very repetitive, actions are critical to day to day Operations.  Must be very Perficient using Excel, Outlook and Teams (Microsoft Suite).

 

Responsibilities and Requirements

 

  • Order entry- Processes Intercompany orders for EDI or Manual orders
  • PO Confirmation
  • Order Maintenance for Business Rules - dating or splitting the lines
  • Release Order Blocks
  • Processes Customer returns - credits and rebills
  • Prepares and distributes Export documents- invoices, AWB, COC etc..
  • Ensues adherence to export regulations and guidelines
  • Provides proactive, accurate communications
  • Processes intercompany orders
  • Collaborates with Supply Planning to secure inventory for intercompany customers
  • Ensures products are registered in destination country
  • Arranges cost effective transportation that meets the customer requirements
  • Prepares and distributes export documentation
  • Supports red and white shipments
  • Ensures adherence to export regulations
  • Adheres to IATA regulations for dangerous goods shipments


Requirements

 

  • 2+ years of experience required, Bachelor's degree preferred 
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience
  • Must have Skills: 
    • Analytical-experience working with data to solve problems and develop processes 
    • Organized 
    • Communication (customer service orientation) 
    • Experience with Microsoft Office 
    • Proficiency in Excel including pivot tables and various functions 
    • PowerBI Skills a plus
    • SAP and or SaleForce experience highly desired.
