Order Puller Manager Assistant

The Order Puller Manager Assistant ensures the department and facility''s goals are completed safely and efficiently by coaching the Order Pullers to safely operate all AFW equipment and ensure that orders are processed efficiently and safely for our customers and departments. The Order Puller Manager Assistant will monitor production, merchandise storage bins, and equipment to ensure everything meets AFW standards and make necessary corrections. The Order Puller Manager Assistant will also coordinate and work effectively with multiple departments to continuously improve processes, maximize efficiency, and exceed customer service expectations.

Starting Pay: $24/HR

Job Requirements

• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies including but not limited to Storis, iPad, Excel, Word, etc.
• Efficiently use the AWM Scheduler to assign Order Pullers to complete department and facility goals.
• Have a flexible schedule and work all shifts, holidays, and weekends.
• Knowledge of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to safely use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ability to read, understand and follow oral and written instructions accurately.

• Ensure the correct paperwork/forms are filled out correctly.
• Identifying and reading reports, tickets, and UPC labels.
• Operate material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse and load Order Pullers with the merchandise.
• Able to operate a radio frequency (RF) scanner.
• Able to correctly use a hand truck.
• Ability to efficiently work independently under direct supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates cooperatively and constructively.
• All training provided by AFW

Physical Requirements:

• Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and, at times, congested areas.
• Requires the ability to stand, walk, stoop, & bend for 8 hours or more daily.
• Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back.
• Requires lift, lower, push and pull all merchandise sizes up to 100 lbs.
• The Order Puller Manager Assistant position requires lifting, gripping, bending, kneeling, stooping, and moving merchandise 8 hours or more daily.
