Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Odessa, Tx
Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. This role involves handling incoming shipments, organizing inventory, picking and packing orders, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments
- Inspect and verify merchandise against purchase orders or invoices
- Sort and store materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to organizational standards
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment (sweeping, dusting, mopping, etc.)
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipment at all times
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Familiarity with carbon flanges and fittings is a plus
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and procedures
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
Experience Requirements
- Warehouse experience: 3 years (preferred)
- Forklift operation: 3 years (preferred)
- Order picker operation: 3 years (preferred)
- Reach truck operation: 2 years (preferred)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move 10–50 lbs regularly and up to 100+ lbs occasionally
- Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
- Occasional sitting, climbing, and balancing
- Use of hands for handling, reaching, and operating equipment
- Good vision, including close, distance, color, and depth perception
