Work Environment: Cold storage facilities with temperatures ranging from –20°C to +5°C; refrigeration or frozen storage areas
Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload products in refrigerated environments
Inspect goods for damage, correct quantity, and labeling during receiving and dispatch
Operate material-handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
Organize and store items in designated cold storage locations
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
Follow safety protocols and utilize PPE suitable for cold environments
Coordinate with warehouse staff, drivers, and supervisors to ensure timely processing
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards for perishable items
Assist with stock counts, quality checks, and housekeeping duties
Client Overview: A logistics provider specializing in cold storage solutions, ensuring safe handling of refrigerated and frozen goods
Pre-Hire Checks Needed: Background check and drug test
PPE Required: Insulated clothing, gloves, and other cold-weather gear provided
Client Pre-Hire Activities: Complete required pre-employment activities set by the client, including background check and drug testing
Where to Go on First Day: Candidate should arrive at the jobsite and park in the employee parking area; report to the designated contact persons Ralph, Rickey, or Sed
