Order Selector

JOB TITLE: Order Selector/Packer

SUMMARY: Performs a combination of tasks including but not limited to receiving,

filling, shipping, and inspecting orders accurately and in a timely manner; efficiently

and safely loads, unloads, and conveys materials. Operating a forklift with the utmost

care to ensure efficiency and safety. Driving stand up forklifts around warehouses,

storage spaces and other facilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receives, locates, and transfers materials accurately and in a timely manner.

Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.

Loads and unloads materials onto and from a variety of containers including but not

limited to, racks, pallets, and/or trays; utilizes appropriate tools to accomplish tasks.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Ability to Transport 1213-foot bundles, packages and materials around warehouse.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have stand up forklift experience (Raymond Standup)

Proven experience operating a standup forklift

Ability to move bundles as high as 20-30 feet

Experience in general labor and warehouse

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Frequently required to stand and walk

Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity

Frequently required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds

Occasionally required to balance, bend, stoop, or kneel
