New Tech Global is currently seeking an Order Selector in Houston, TX.
Overview
- Assist in daily operations.
- Pick customer orders accurately according to the company's picking procedures.
- Wrap pallets, load trailer, and containers.
- Inspect product for damages, report as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Equipment maintenance and upkeep.
- Routine cleaning duties.
- Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized. Listen and follow instructions from supervisor.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years' experience in Picking and Fulfilling Orders.
- 3+ years' experience in operating Walkie Rider.
- 3+ years' experience in operating Reach Truck.
- Familiarity of use of shipping scanners.
- Proven work experience in warehouse setting.
- Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for work, must be able to lift or move
at least 50 lbs. unassisted and stand for prolonged periods. - Able to work independently and safely.
- Proficient in speaking, reading and writing in English. Spanish a plus but not required.
- Basic Arithmetic skills involving addition, subtraction, multiplication.
- Computer skills.
- Inventory systems proficiency: DSI & JDE experience a plus.
