Warehouse Order Selector - 2nd Shift

 Location: Methuen, MA 01844
 Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
 Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM

We are currently hiring Warehouse Order Selectors to support a high-volume grocery distribution operation in Methuen, Massachusetts. This role offers consistent hours, weekly start opportunities, optional overtime, and the potential to transition into a permanent union position.

Schedule

• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Fixed days off:
  • Tuesday & Wednesday, or
  • Wednesday & Thursday
• Days off do not rotate
• Upon permanent hire, shift hours may extend to 1:00 AM or 3:00 AM based on business needs and overtime availability

Job Responsibilities

• Select grocery products using a voice-directed warehouse system
• Operate ride-on and electric pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Build customer orders according to company standards
• Palletize products for shipment
• Verify order accuracy and product quantities
• Transport materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintain productivity and safety standards in a fast-paced distribution environment

Physical Requirements

Candidates must be able to:

• Frequently lift and move products weighing up to 87 pounds
• Lift products to shoulder level and overhead as required
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift
• Work safely in a refrigerated warehouse environment maintained between 34°F and 37°F

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution center, order selecting, pallet jack, or material handling experience preferred
• Experience operating electric pallet jacks is a plus
• Ability to obtain authorization to operate warehouse equipment
• Comfortable working in cold temperatures throughout the workday
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals
