Shift :  Sunday - Thursday Night, 5PM to Finish! OT is available! Consecutive days off guaranteed!

 

Receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within establishments by performing the following duties.

 

Essential Duties:

  • Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Uses a wrist-mounted wearable device with barcode scanner to receive and confirm order selections as they enter the system.
  • Operates a single or double ride-on pallet jack to travel through warehouse aisles and pick multiple orders per shift.
  • Sorts and selects perishable goods in refrigerated rooms.
  • Selects, scans, and pulls products from designated pick slots, ensuring accuracy in item, quantity, and sequence.
  • Stacks, builds, and sequences pallets according to product weight, size, and stability requirements.
  • Loading or unloading product for inbound receiving or outbound shipping.
  • Stages completed pallets at assigned dock doors for outbound loading.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
  • Performs item counts when multiple picks are required from the same slot or when accuracy needs verification.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Wraps pallets using manual or mechanical stretch-wrap equipment.
  • Uses computer to enter records.
  • Conducts self-audits of completed pallets to verify correct items, quantities, and labeling.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Follows all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and warehouse best practices.
  • Prepares parcels for mailing.
  • Maintains inventory and compliance records.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print simple sentences.
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.

  • Occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Regularly lift and /or move up to 100 pounds
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
