This position requires working in the Vault Warehouse filling orders from load sheets, handling cases of manufactured dairy related products as it comes off the production line, rotating cases of product, receiving freight, loading delivery vehicles and cleaning the Vault. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to paperwork, use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lifting up to 100 lbs. The majority of the shift is typically spent in -15° to 34° F environment. The Order Selector must maintain an efficient work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure we produce the highest quality dairy products available in the marketplace.
Pay Range: $23.73 - $26.36/hr
Essential Duties:
Verify all refer settings prior to loading any trailers.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain products to be pulled from stock.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, chains and shelves by hand.
Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Count, weigh, and record number of units or material moved or handled on daily production sheet.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, stacks, or other containers.
Load trucks with appropriate products for delivery to customers.
Stack or assemble materials onto pallet & bands or shrink wraps stacks to secure product.
Lift heavy objects by hand, with metal hook or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment.
Operate industrial truck to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Keep the work area clean and free of debris, broken products, and any other hazards.
Use chemicals to sanitize products & the warehouse.
Safely and accurately pull and load orders according to a pick sheet.
Properly rotate inventory to follow “first in, first out” procedure.
Review of all orders to determine if they were completely fulfilled.
Ensure warehouse equipment charging procedure is being followed.
Be able to identify products by size, type, style, color or product code

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to work flexible schedules including shift work, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work in a cold environment.
Good written and oral communications skills.
Good math skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Must be dependable and responsible.
Be able to lift 50 lbs. overhead.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Be able to spend majority of shift standing or walking.
