We Are Looking For
The Order Verification Associate is an experienced position that ensures order accuracy and inventory integrity under moderate supervision. This associate collaborates with warehouse and shipping teams to resolve fulfillment issues, assists in training new associates, and contributes to process improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
As an Order Verification Associate, you'll be responsible for:
- Verify orders with moderate supervision, measuring and weighing items with equipment to ensure quality and accuracy and identifying minor deviations from specifications
- Conduct detailed quality inspections and document results
- Collaborate with warehouse and shipping teams to resolve fulfillment issues, such as delayed shipments or incorrect packaging, using analytical input to suggest solutions
- Assist in training new associates on verification processes, providing hands-on guidance and demonstrating proper procedures for aerospace components
- Interpret customer-specific instructions and internal documentation to ensure orders meet unique requirements
- Coordinate with sales teams to clarify customer requirements for non-portal account holders, ensuring accurate order fulfillment
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards during verification processes
- Identify and report discrepancies, such as incorrect items, quantities, or labeling issues, before shipment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or other tracking tools to confirm order accuracy.
- Maintain accurate records of verified orders and discrepancies for reporting purposes.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain an organized work area by keeping aisles clear, properly storing materials, and adhering to safety and organizational standards. Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training sessions.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of order processing, warehouse or inventory management experience, or equivalent on-the-job training
- Ability to work independently with moderate supervision while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong team collaboration skills with the ability to assist and guide less experienced associates
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to document findings and provide training support
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills to address order and inventory discrepancies
- Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and quality standards with a focus on continuous improvement
Special Requirements:
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
