Tramec Sloan, located in Holland, Michigan, is currently seeking an Order Verifier- Material Handler.
Position Summary:
As an Order Verifier- Material Handler, you play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of material handling operations within our organization. Your primary responsibility is to verify the quality, quantity, and specifications of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring compliance with established standards and procedures.
Shift: Monday- Friday 5:30am- 2:00pm but schedule could vary with overtime possibilities.

Description:
- Verifying and packing out customer orders.
- Counting and labeling products according to customer specifications.
- Working with UPS WorldShip and FedEx computer systems.
- Working with Epicor on the Customer Shipment Entry screen.
- Works with and communicates closely with the warehouse team.
- Use of RF scanner transactions as needed.
- Responsible for working in accordance with our documented Quality System and for ensuring that products and services meet the customer's specified requirements.
- May be required by management to perform other reasonable work-related tasks.
- May be required to work different shifts, hours, overtime and weekends if needed.
Requirements
- 1 year warehouse experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to use scanner devices and computer literacy is required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Good math skills. Able to work with numbers including reading numbers, recording them correctly and be able to count large quantities accurately.
- Good reading and comprehension skills
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with all levels of staff.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities is required.
- Must be attentive to detail, organized, results oriented, and have a high level of accuracy.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area using the 5S process and follows all safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
