Our mission is to create a warm, authentic, and memorable experience for every guest.We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Ordering Manager to oversee ordering and inventory management for our sausage, deli meat, fish and dairy product departments. This role is responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels, placing accurate and timely orders, communicating with suppliers, and ensuring that products are consistently available, fresh, and properly stocked. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced grocery environment.What You'll DoMonitor inventory levels for sausages, deli meats, fish, dairy products, and related itemsPrepare and place product orders based on sales, inventory levels, upcoming promotions, and expected demandCommunicate with vendors and suppliers regarding orders, availability, pricing, deliveries, and product issuesReview incoming deliveries to ensure the correct products, quantities, and quality standards are metTrack product expiration dates and maintain proper FIFO (First In, First Out) rotationMonitor product freshness, quality, and shelf availabilityIdentify slow-moving, overstocked, or out-of-stock products and adjust ordering accordinglyMaintain accurate ordering and inventory recordsCoordinate with department managers and store management regarding product needs and inventory levelsFollow up on missing, damaged, short, or incorrect deliveries and resolve issues with suppliersHelp maintain appropriate stock levels while minimizing waste and product lossStay informed about supplier products, availability, pricing, and seasonal changesAssist with maintaining organized storage areas and proper product rotationFollow all food safety, sanitation, and company proceduresPerform other inventory and ordering-related duties as neededWork Schedule: Sun - Wed, Fri 8:30 am - 5:00 pmPay & Compensation: $20-25 per hour, depending on experienceBenefits:We offer competitive employee benefits including paid sick leave (1 hour per 40 hours worked), partial employer-covered medical insurance (75% for full-time employees), and paid vacation: 1 week after 1 year of employment and 2 weeks after 2 years.Required QualificationsPrevious experience in ordering, purchasing, inventory management, grocery retail, food service, or a similar positionExperience working with food products, preferably dairy, sausages, deli meats, fish or other perishable productsStrong organizational and time-management skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to monitor inventory and identify ordering needsStrong communication and vendor relationship skillsAbility to work independently and make responsible ordering decisionsBasic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate recordsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasksAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsReliability, punctuality, and strong work ethicKnowledge of food safety, proper storage, and product rotation is a plus
