Organic Architecture Consultant - Mainframe
Location: Canada
Work schedule: 35 hours per week
Working mode: 100% remote
Responsibilities
Establish the scope of an improvement project, development or study results. To this end:
Contribute to impact assessments;
Familiarize yourself with user needs and available documentation;
Outline organic solutions;
Carry out proofs of concept;
Analyze the feasibility and present the organic solutions to be preferred;
Contribute to the development of the implementation strategy and the establishment of timelines;
Advise managers on the organizational directions to be taken;
Recommend the preferred organic solution.
Define or review the organic architecture of the processing. To this end:
Write organic architecture files;
Define the distribution of organic components to be put in place;
Review or change the organic rules;
Ensure the use of common components;
Participate in complex incident resolution and root cause analysis.
Act as an advisor in organic delivery architecture and mainly:
Contribute to the assessment of the scope of product evolution deliveries and IT assets, in particular, by proposing a grouping of service requests taking into account the nature of the changes, the organizational components affected by these changes, the priorities and the strategies stated;
Controlling the quality of organic deliverables produced in relation to organic standards, organic architecture, functional files, etc.;
Advise and support the project and product evolution teams on the consistency and integrity of changes in the systems concerned;
Draft integrated testing strategies;
Organize, plan and supervise volume, penetration and performance tests;
Carry out code revisions to ensure compliance with organic and programming standards and rules;
Support the project and systems evolution teams with architecture and business rules.
Conduct specific studies or any other activity required for the mandate or systems evolution;
Transfer knowledge and expertise to internal and external resources;
Develop processing units of higher complexity;
Support and advise developer analysts and validate their deliverables.
