Origination Support Specialist
Title Grade: Entry or Mid-Level
Department: Sales
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Reports to: Branch Manager
Status: Regular, Full-Time or Part-Time
Pay Grade: Hourly (DOE)
SUMMARY & PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Origination Support Specialist (LOA) will be organized with a strong attention to detail. This individual is expected to exercise significant initiative in the performance of all assigned duties.
PRIMARY POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Loan Officer in general administrative and clerical duties;
Obtain loan documentation once loan application is received and ensure all documentation is completed accurately for Loan Officer to proceed to the next phase of processing;
Schedule appointments, meetings, lunches, and etc. for the Loan Officer and clients;
Assist with branch marketing efforts to generate leads;
Complete other duties as assigned.
ESSESTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required;
Must have exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
Must be dependable with meeting deadlines and managing time;
Have an ability to work independently on multiple files simultaneously;
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in the mortgage banking industry;
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION:
No direct reports
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENT:
The environment is characteristic of an office setting. Must be able to execute complex tasks on time sensitive transactions, and be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
