ORT - Operating Room

Summary:

• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, day/night rotation
• Start Times: 9 AM or 11 AM
• Every 3rd weekend as needed; every other holiday
• Call: 1x per schedule
• May float to Moakley or other OR campuses if needed

Responsibilities:

• Provide surgical services in various specialties including general, gynecology, urology, oral, otolaryngology, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine
• Maintain a positive attitude and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure excellent communication with team members

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of inpatient surgery experience
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• NBSTSA certification required; no other certifications accepted
• BLS certification required
• Competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical services
